It’s hard to comprehend the hours, days, months and years of service you’ve put into helping young guys like myself learn the game of baseball, but also what it means to be a hard working decent man. I’ll never forget the kind of coach and person you were for me in some of my hardest days as a teenage kid when things weren’t going so well with my family. You will always be a father figure to me and I am eternally grateful for the lessons and coaching you’ve poured into myself and all other McKinney North Bulldogs. Some of the best memories of my life were spent on that field with you, our other coaches and teammates - you created an environment for us to be ourselves while understanding the greater goal that we were always trying to achieve. Not about the wins, but about bettering ourselves as individuals. At the same time you showed us what it meant to be a winner. Thank you Coach for everything. We love and are so grateful for you!

Thank you for everything you've done for me. You have truly impacted my life and helped shape me into the man I am today. You've been an incredible coach and a constant support through both highs and lows. Being able to play for you and be apart of a team you created was special and I'll always appreciate it. Now that you've coached both Cade and me, I'm even more grateful for the impact you've had on our lives.

Congratulations on a GREAT career! One of the greatest high school baseball coaches of all time! Getting to be around you for 5 years at north was a great experience for me.
