As a PE teacher, my classroom arrangements look differently than a regular classroom setting. I have gone from taking attendance with students standing for roll, to sitting, and it has been a GameChanger. It keeps the students still and expectations are understood. The front of my classroom is always where I am at, since I am constantly moving in PE. I like a lot of the ideas that Brittany and Richard said today. Specifically, Brittany talked about thinking about it from the lens of cleaning out the garage. It’s always going to get messier before it gets better.
