What do we do?

Wheeler Robotics competes in the First Tech Challenge, a competitive high school robotics league. Think less battle bots and more robot sports, every year we are given new challenges to complete (you can take a look at last year's challenge) and have 4 months to build our robot before competition really begins.

As part of competition, we also organize community events, workshops, maintain our social media accounts, and create a season overview to present to judges.

We currently have 2 teams under the Wheeler Robotics Program: Team #252, The Electric Quahogs and Team #636, Occam's Razor Clams.

Both teams hold drafting at the end of September

We meet during Tuesday Enrichments and hold afterschool practices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. In order to be considered a full time member you must attend 50% of practices. Enrichment periods, and community events can count towards your attendance.

Hello! I am Calder and I am one of the co-captains for team 252. I started robotics in middle school on an FLL team. My primary role on team 252 is to use CAD to help design custom parts for my teams robot. In my free time I like to mountain bike and ski.
