Dua Lipa's logo is similar, and it promotes her as as a mature and modern artist. Displaying a range of fonts on the website proves professionalism as you have access to many options and haven't rushed to use the first thing available. On top of this, fonts like the ones I experimented with suggest that the artist is creative, quirky and intriguing. The first font I chose is a little difficult to read, especially on the third word 'bruise', so I thought it would be better to choose a clearer one. If they do they'll make a page hard on the eyes and difficult to look at. I chose pink as the background colour and the colour of much of the writing for my album because it indicates an idea of femininity that our artist, Vienna, potentially has. It is also widely seen as an aesthetically pleasing, soft colour. In terms of shades, I didn't want to choose one that was too dark because it might give a more serious impression than I want to go for when it comes to my artist. The first colour is quite dark and therefore not very easy on the eyes. I didn't want my website to be difficult to look at in any way, so I eventually ruled that one out. The pale pink colour is very aesthetically pleasing and easy on the eyes, but I do still want my website to stand out and grab an audience's attention. I tried to collect photos that showed my face closely and didn't look informal. For example, I tested out using the bottom photo on the biography page to see how it would look and I was pleased with the result. However, it was irritating to move the text so the face wasn't obstructed on the image. For the other images on the other pages, I'm going to try and duplicate them on the site. If they only appear once, they'll hinder the possibilities of the actual layout of content.
