Emerging topics such as RIS and machine learning approaches will be covered. The course will include a workshop on the use of HFSS for modelling a propagation link (including basic antenna design/coupling).
The course is also an official Training School of the COST Action CA20120 INTERACT.

The course is focused on propagation and channel modelling for modern wireless systems, with a focus on short range operation, and is specially designed for PhD students and engineers working in this area.

The prerequisites are: basics of wireless communications, along with some knowledge of electromagnetic and appropriate engineering mathematics.
