Sam saw a car because he was sleeping at a cabin. Sam's dad showed him how to drive a car so he was using the things that his dad showed him.

This book is okay; there is a lot of stuff going on in the book. I think the people reading the book should know who started the fire. i like that you didn't put a lot of people in the book because I dont have to remember a lot of people's names. i think you should add more stuff in the book. i dont like that you started the book right away because i dont nothing about sam and the others. this books tells me alot about not to give up.

the author believes that it is important to be kind to others and something good can come out from being kind to people.

because Sam was kind to pick delphy up in the Jeep. after he picked her up she started to help Sam get more stuff done. they have different things so it help more like she has good eyes so delphy can find places that Sam cant see. she was braver then Sam when the bear was in the car. Sam can drive the car so it can help them get to place and get away from the fire.
