I would use functional or situational syllabus. They will be the most dominant among the others.Because teaching the elementary kids skills that, they do not need is not logical. With functional syllabus and situational syllabus I can teach the elementary kids in beginner level of the target language.Second grade kids do not need to know complex sentence structures or grammar. They only need to know basic vocabulary and basic sentences. These syllabuses are the most fitting for my teaching and target grade that I am teaching.

Connecting these two syllabus types would be easy. They share some same topics. They are based on listening and speaking mostly, so I dont think it will be hard to associate them with each other.

Situational and Skill Based syllabus can be combined for 7th grade. These syllabuses may be more dominant for 7th graders. Because Skill Based is one in which the content of language teaching is a collection of spesific abilities that may play a part in using language. While situational syllabi group functions together into specific settings of language use, skill-based syllabi group linguistic competencies together into generalized types of behavior, such as listening to spoken language for the main idea, writing well-formed paragraphs, giving effective oral presentations, taking language tests, reading texts for main ideas or supporting details, and so on.

Betül
1.
The combination of situational and lexical syllabus types would I use. these are dominant types for 3rd grade curriculum. situational syllabus is coa collection of real or imaginary situations in which language occurs. so students learn according to situations for example; meeting peoples and introduce themselves. these are prepare students to use a language and to learn vocabulary of target language.

I would combine the situational and lexical syllabus to teach the language that occurs in the situations. It will be dominant for the 4th grade students. For instance, while teaching jobs or family members it will be suitable for them to memorize the vocabulary of the target language that they learn.

I would use content-based and task-based syllabus. I would teach content of target language, then I would support the content with tasks and activities. Task-based syllabus would be dominant because supporting the contents with activities develops the second language ability more.

For ninth graders, I believe the Cultural Syllabus and Task-based Syllabus would be beneficial. Students in the first type can learn more about the language while also learning about the culture of the target language. They will develop their language skills by practicing and participating in language activities in the second type. Cultural Syllabus, in my opinion, would help students become much more educated. Its function in both types is to provide language practice and support. In both cases, language plays an important role. While the first type can learn about culture, expand their language awareness, and develop their language, the second can strengthen their knowledge and progress through activities.

I would combine Notional/Functional and Task based sylabuses.Because 2nd grade students needs to learn basics and communication should start. Teacher should observe students then prepare activities and also teacher should find interesting topics for those students
Connecting these two will be good for both teacher and student because 2nd grade students are not good at writing and reading then teaching the English with activities and basic topics suits 2nd graders.
