The truth is that the topic is rather complicated and more or less subjective. That’s why it’s important to take a look at all of the necessary facts and to compare them prior to reaching any kind of conclusion. The most obvious thing to do is, to begin with answering the question why do people tend to get their fake IDs at all, and this should provide us with enough ground to move forward. So, with all this being said, let’s get to it. 
 
Why Use a Fake ID?
 
The truth is that the majority of people who are going to order a fake ID from respective websites are that they simply want to access something which is forbidden by law. Normally, we are talking about under aged teenagers who want to get some booze. Of course, if the law stipulates that the legal drinking age is 21 years old, we should abide by it and assume that there are sound scientific principles backing this particular claim. 
 
However, are there really?
 
If there are sound scientific grounds backing the 21 years law, then why is it that the USA is one of the only countries in the entire world which has this particular law? In the majority of the world, including the most well-developed economies and countries in Western Europe, the drinking restriction limit is 18 years old. That’s right when you become 18 years old; you have the rights that any other member of society has. Of course, you also have the same obligations. 
 
Believe it or not, illegal access to alcohol and venues which sell it is the most common reason for getting fake IDs. So, the question that we have to ask ourselves right here is – is this really necessary? Not every single person under the age of 21 has the compulsive necessity to drink himself to death. Of course, some may argue that this is not a strong argument, but the truth is that this particular law can be seen as both protective and entirely restrictive. Not only is the difference in mental development between 18 and 21 insignificant, the law is also posing a wide range of other restrictions that a fake ID can actually handle.
