It allowed me to further understand the book "Going Up the River" much better than when I previously read the book. The review also allowed me to find and understand how another person sees and interprets the book and their opinion on it. One of the main things I can relate to when reading this book and the review is that it refers to " This growth has occurred even as the crime rate has fallen, by about 16 percent since 1995."
