         <description><![CDATA[<p>Storybird is an online tool that can help students become amazing writers. There are so many ways to give students a start to their creative writing skills.&nbsp; To be able to access Storybird, it is a free application, but you are required to sign up by providing a working email and password. This application has so many guides that students can use to help them create stories by having many story prompts. This is a great resource for students who have a hard time with coming up with things to write about or for students who may have a difficult time being descriptive and imaginative with their writing. This application is great for students of all grades, starting at kindergarten through the 12th grade. This application could be used to support or enhance the students' learning through learning new writing techniques through their lessons and challenges. There are so many benefits of using storybird.&nbsp; One benefit of using this technology tool would be to give students a starting point for writing papers. I think that this is also a great platform where students can build off of their already known writing skills while also building new ones off of the basics. Teachers might be brought with obstacles like having enough computers for students to use. To overcome this obstacle, the teacher can put the photo up on the board so that all students can see it and use it as a starting point for their writing. Growing off of the basics can be helpful for students who might be struggling in their ELA class. It is also so engaging because it includes pictures and guides that students can write off of. It acts as a starting point and it can help teachers with getting students motivated in the classroom, especially if the student can have the freedom of choosing their photo to use.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Grammarly can be put on your computer for free for the base model, or you can upgrade it and pay a monthly fee to have higher scores on your writing. This can help with determining errors in grammar and in sentence structure. The purpose of Grammarly is to help students aged 13 and up with their grammar and sentence structure. This tool can be used to enhance writing by offering different ways to write papers. It can also encourage different words instead of others. This can help the flow of sentences by paragraph. So many benefits to using Grammarly when writing. Grammarly can be used on a computer or a tablet to help students improve their writing through grammar and sentence structure. The one obstacle that teachers may face while implementing the technology into the classroom would be that the tool would be used frequently and students would get used to the help that it provides. One way to get around this obstacle is to have students check their work before going through Grammarly and its checking system. Grammarly can help students and engage all students in ELA content. This is because it helps promote students to grow their grammar skills by starting to fix the easy mistakes. It has color coding, which also helps you know what you’re fixing. They also give out different ideas and examples of what you could write instead of what they put down in the writing, which is extremely helpful for all students, especially those who have development struggles with literacy and language.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Students can learn from interactive videos, and teachers benefit from knowing if the students have watched the videos and how far they have seen. Teachers can also ask students questions to track what they have been understanding. This resource is for grades K-12. The ELA content areas that this technology could be used to support are for test prep and assignments. These can be done through ELA classes. This technology can be used to prepare students and increase student engagement. There are so many benefits to using this. One benefit is that it has increased student engagement. This is because students can learn in different ways. One of the best ways that I have found is through the videos. It also encourages students to be accountable for their work. This is because students have two answer questions along the way. This also ensures that teachers know that the students are learning all the way through. An obstacle that teachers may face is the chance of students not being able to have different settings when playing the video or answering the questions. Teachers can’t overcome this obstacle by having students work in groups or individually. There are so many ways that it can engage all students. For example, students can answer interactive questions, such as multiple-choice questions, polls, or simple reflections on what they have learned in the videos. Since it can not skip or skim through the videos, it can help students actually watch through the whole video. There’s also a setting where teachers can receive instant feedback on what the students are learning in the videos.</p>]]></description>

The purpose of this online tool is to have students of all grades, K through 12, work in collaboration by creating different boards with several different outlines. This online platform can help ELA and support it because it allows for a lot of creativity in that area. For example, there are different ways that you can customize the boards. It can also help with collaboration, which, in turn, can aid students in learning new ELA skills while working together or independently. Students have many benefits from using this online platform. Students will be able to customize their boards. Students will also be able to collaborate not only with other students but with the teacher, as well. Students can also view other students' work to help correct it when directed by the teacher. One thing that teachers might have to face with this is privacy settings. Students would be able to have their board as private. I think that’s important for teachers to put up a rule that students will have to share their board with them. This way, teachers can check and keep track of the students' progress on their boards. This technology will meaningfully engage all students in ELA content because it encourages students to use their skills to create different creative pieces of work through these boards and collaborative parts, such as the boards and notes that they can include. It can help students who struggle because it makes it easy for the teacher to be a part of their boards through collaborative learning.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

These documents can also be shared across the platform with other collaborators. This can be used for all grades, kindergarten through 12th grade. ELA content areas that the Google Docs can be used to support, such as through the outlines and templates that they provides. There are many benefits that students can receive while using Google Docs. One amazing thing is that students can collaborate with other students while working on the same document. This is great for group work projects or even using it to do individualized projects. One obstacle that teachers may face with this is having a hard time checking on students' papers before they share them through a link. To overcome this obstacle, teachers can create the document themselves and have the students be the editors of the document. This technology will meaningfully engage all students because there are so many different ways that you can customize your document. Google Docs can also be great for the development of struggling students because it offers some grammar correction. This can be great, especially for those who are starting with typing and learning how to do correct grammar and structures in projects.</p>]]></description>
