         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Article "Did a Novel Start the Civil War" is about the novel "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and the effects it had on society and the thoughts of slavery. it exposed many people about the horrors of slavery in the south. The novel was written by a abolitionist named Harriet Beecher Stowe. The novel was said to play a key role in anti-slavery rise in the republican party. Stowe wanted a peaceful end to slavery but she knew it would not happen.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The article had some interesting facts however, the question "Did a Novel Start the Civil War" is never really answered in the article. the article also explained some of the impacts on some of the aspects of life back then but to my understanding the war most likely would have happened anyway. The article also had sections that didn't relate to the answer of the question.</div>]]></description>
