Whether or not family members are in a nursing home is neutral in my perspective. We all have different reasons why we can or can't choose to have an elderly family member live with us. The circumstances differ in each home.

Disagree. Who are we to choose who gets to live and who doesn't? I believe in mercy and compassion towards others. I think it is also difficult to judge their circumstances without understanding what got them there in the first place.

Strongly Disagree. I think diversity is a beautiful concept and the U.S. is made up of many diverse cultures and they should be shared.

If someone uses abortion as a form of birth control, that's none of anyone's business. It doesn't effect anyone in any kind of way. Their body their choice. No law should interfere with a women's body, period. Religion playing into this disgusts me, because colonization. Native Americans had abortion traditions and medicines for it. There is a group of aunties who have raised millions of dollars in aiding women in seeking safe abortions. IF anything, we should adapt to original indigenous ways.

Strongly agree. Transgender teens should have gender affirming care. The reason for this is so the teen can have a system in place for support. Gender affirming care is also life saving care. Transgender youth have more than a 50% suicide rate when they don't have access to gender affirming care. Trans people are backed by science. They do not chose to be transgender.

Some people do not have the means to have their family members live with them. It is cheaper and easier to keep them with a family member, but not always available. There needs to be options for the care that the family member recieves. Ethically we need to meet families where they are and seek resources no matter the differing obstacles.

There is not one true religion. There are religions that are original and there are ones that have been manufactured by man. I believe there is a Creator. Spirituality over religion. We don't need to use religion as an excuse to be a good person. We also don't need a religion that teaches you how to hate others for being different. Everyone has the right to believe in whatever religion they want. Regardless of history or science.

I'm neutral about only existing "one true religion", because even though I'm Catholic, I defend my religion, don't try to convince me to change or believe something else. But I also don't mind what others believe or predict, as long as they do good in life and to others around them; that's all it matters to me. No matter their religion.

I am in the middle with this because I believe that sometimes taking care of another person can be hard, and not always does everyone have the resources or help, and sometimes at a nursing home, they can get better help

I strongly agree. I am a firm believer that if there is no cure/hope for a patient then assisted euthanasia should be available. Pain and suffering especially at the end of life is horrible and though it can be managed with care and medication the state of life is not ideal. Many in my family who have had to deteriorate slowly due to either old age or sickness have expressed their extreme discomfort and desire to have some sort of control/peace over the way they went. Having said that, I am fully aware that in some cases and in some religions this may be a horrible idea as it can seem like murder but it is important to remember that not everyone practices or even has faith in a religion that may deem this act as a murder/sin.

I strongly disagree. There is no requirement for a person to learn any language regardless of where they choose to live, the United States would be very unwelcoming to many who bring bright and possible life saving ideas. This would also strongly target and impact marginalized groups which is not okay. It is already hard enough to get by when moving or seeking a better life why have this new requirement which for many is not even needed.

I feel that my parents played a big role in how I view abortion. My parents did not agree with abortion which meant I didn't agree with abortion. It wasn't until I became an adult and could understand and hear the opinions of others. I think that everyone should be able to choose.

I think this is a touchy subject in general. I think it depends on the stage of pregnancy, honestly. There comes a point in time when the fetus is no longer just a clump of cells. Also, regarding using abortion as a type of birth control that I do not agree with. I believe people need to be responsible and know that if they are going to have sex unprotected, this can result in pregnancy. Many people try to have kids, and can't yet some people have abortions left and right just because they can. Do I believe people should have a right to choose? With anything, I think there are limits, and it isn't a black and white decision.

I’m neutral because as a Christian, I personally believe Christianity is the true religion for me and it guides my faith. At the same time, I recognize that people from other backgrounds hold their own religions as true and sacred in their lives. Each person’s belief system gives them purpose, values, and direction, even if it looks different from mine. That’s why I can’t strongly agree or strongly disagree, I see truth in my own religion, but I also respect that others see truth in theirs.

I disagree because abortion is not a type of birth control, and I don’t think it should be treated that way. There are difficult gray areas like pregnancies resulting from rape that I recognize are very painful and complex. I cannot imagine being in that position, and I understand why some people feel abortion is the only option. However, I don’t support late-term abortions, because at some point it is no longer just a “clump of cells” but a developing life. I also believe repeated abortions could harm a woman’s health, and preventing pregnancy in the first place should be the focus. One point that stands out to me is that in some states when a pregnant woman is murdered, the law often charges the killer with double homicide, which shows recognition of the unborn child’s life. For these reasons, I can’t fully agree that abortion decisions should be left only to patients and providers without any legal boundaries.

I strongly disagree because there have been many cases where gender affirming care has caused more harm than good to individuals, both physically and mentally. Teens are still developing and growing, and making such major changes at that stage can create long-term consequences. I believe if someone truly feels the need for this kind of care, it should be a decision made once they are of legal age and able to make a fully conscious choice for themselves. At that point, if they still feel it’s the right path, then they can pursue it as an adult.

I strongly agree with this because why would we even oppose it in the first place? Don’t we want people to be able to communicate clearly with one another? Some may argue that the U.S. doesn’t have an official language, but if that’s the case, are we all supposed to learn multiple languages just to communicate then? That defeats their point. I’ve seen many migrants like my own family, my wife, and people I know from the military, who came to this country and learned English. Some of them even do very important jobs in the military, and I feel like if they can do it, anyone can. Even people who come without much education have managed to learn English, which shows it’s very much possible.

I strongly disagree. Even though English is the most common language, America doesn’t have an official language, and its diversity is part of its strength. Many immigrant people work hard in agriculture and other essential jobs, and not everyone has the resources or ability to learn a new language. Making it a requirement could be unfair and exclude those who already contribute so much to this country. Respect and inclusion should matter more than language rules.

I disagree. I think that they should have to wait until they are adults. When I was little, I hated girl and I didn't want to be one so I wore boy cloths and had a boy hair cut, I didn't come into my femineity until later on and I'm so glad that I grew out of it because I love my body and my child and my femineity.
