Additionally, supervisors are encouraged to include recommendations, such as scheduling follow-up meetings with employees to address any underlying concerns like task assignments. End-of-shift reports are confidential and will only be shared with authorized personnel. All information contained in these reports will be handled with the highest level of discretion.

Steps:

1. Access the Training Link
   Click on the provided training link to begin.

2. Register and Set a Password
   Create your account and choose a memorable password.

3. Read the Instructions
   Review the instructions provided on the screen.

4. Complete the Pre-Training Survey
   Take the pre-training survey independently. When asked about your organization, please select "Health Care and Social Services."

5. Prepare for the Training
   Turn off your sound, as the training video will be played collectively.

6. Watch the Training as a Team
   Once everyone has finished the pre-training survey, the team manager will introduce the video. Each participant should start the training on their device simultaneously for consistency. This session will last one hour.

7. Complete the Post-Training Quiz/Survey
   After the video, each team member should independently complete the post-training quiz/survey.

Course Description

This is an online course that aims to equip first responders and post-overdose outreach teams with the background and tools to implement a trauma-informed response when interacting with a person who has experienced an overdose.

The course is divided into 5 modules. All modules will need to be completed in order to complete the requirements for course completion.

How to Obtain CE

To receive continuing education (CE) for WB4737, you must complete the steps below by April 15, 2026:

• Check the box for each type of CE you wish to apply for when registering for the course.

• Complete the course.

• If there is a Mark Completed button on the course page in TRAIN, click to move to the next step.

• Pass the post-assessment. You will have 2 attempts to pass.

• Complete the evaluation.

The program is free, thanks to a grant from Health Care Access and Information (HCAi), with enrollment open year-round. Participants can select their own placement site, with the Program Coordinator confirming the details. Internship can start once 50% of the online training is completed. yours hours at Relay can be excepted as internship hours. with your times of 20 ours in the program.

After finishing the program, participants maintain access to their account for future reference.
