President donald trump announced a plan to help stop the fighting in gaza. the deal includes a pause in the war and the release of israeli hostages and palestinian prisoners. trump said some hostages could be released by monday or tuesday. He also plans to travel to egypt to sign the peace deal. The israeli government agreed to the deal, which comes almost two years after a deadly attack by Hamas. Since then, many people have died in gaza, and there’s been a lot of suffering, including hunger and damage to homes. The U.S. may send troops to help give aid and keep the area safe. this deal is important because it could bring peace and help people who are in danger.

Israel's security cabinet has set a meeting with to vote on the US brokered cease fire. Israel has decided to sign a deal with the Hamas to release the hostages in Gaza. People in Israel are stating that the hostages should be released when the war ends. Trump says that the hostages are to be released before the end of next week. This story is important because Gaza has hostages from Israel. This isn't right. Taking in innocent people just for the sake of a war is cruel and inhuman. This story is important because it shows how much Israel is going through.I don't relate to this article but I do empathize. It shows how cruel war really is for people to get taken away and killed in front of their families. Lives are being taken for no reason it isn't right. My feelings about this article are sad because nobody deserves to be a hostage.

Children in the country of Haiti, located in the carribean are struggling to surivive. Due to a lot of gang violence and dangerouse situations chidlren and their families have been forced to flee their homes. Chidlren are sleeping on the road, in tents, under roofs, in tarps, and even under pipes that leak constatly. Kids are very malnutritioned and have starved to death. The United Nations has an organization called the Food World Program provides meals to families but has had to cut their ratins in half due to the number of chidlren growing. Many kids havent been to school in over 2 years and even kids under 5 are being recruited to join gangs. Not many countries are doing much about it but its a growing problem.

This article is about two girls who passed away in New York due to them allegedly “surfing” on top of a subway train. Zemfria Mukhtarov, 12 years old, from Brooklyn , and Ebba Morina, 13 years old, from Manhattan, sadly died while train surfing on a J train in Brooklyn, in NYC. This story took place early morning of October 4,2025 (between 3-10,4am) at the Marcy Avenue Broadway in Williamsburg. Both of the girls were found lifeless atop of the train and were both pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities report that the girls were part of a group of about 15 teens seen running inside the train before the tragedy happened. Subway Surfing stunts, fueled by social media, have been on the upswing in recent years as teens have posted videos of the brazen act, officials have said.

As most of you heard recently, the government had shutdown on us due to being unable to make a decision for the republicans and democrats and making a agreement on time. So what happens? Well first, some stuff are running normally like always. But some other things happening? Most of it shuts down, delays, or stops. Most flights has been cancelled or delayed because of of a shortage of air traffic controllers, who are also expected to work without pay which is not so great since other jobs and workers are not going to be paid too. A lot of workers have also been calling in sick, and estimated that staffing levels have dropped to 50% at times in some areas. Social security and Medicare cheques are still being sent out, although benefit verification and card issuance work may stop. The U.S. government shutdown has stopped many things like economic data, including the monthly jobs report and inflation figures. So this is heavily impacting our economy and services in the US, possibly leading to another Great Depression if this goes on any longer and will be affecting us all.

Haiti children are facing problems with many gang violence over taking their country while food prices go up. Many things are happening in this place. Children being left alone because of families that can't afford rent, gangs kidnaping people, the community not helping and low resources make a dangerous and hard life for many Haitians. Children are living in camps now with others that have been left alone in the streets. With many respect, I think there should be some help here, because children in Haiti are being traumatized and even facing danger problems.

On October 1, 2025, at 12:01 am the government shut down. You may be thinking "why did the government shut down? Has this happened in the past, and how can we prevent it" and I have an answer for each and every question. The government shuts down when the two political parties, the Republicans, and the democrats cant agree on one thing. Sounds childish but its actually very important that both political parties agree on one thing because if not, how will it be fair for the American citizens? these government shut downs have happened numerous times and the only way we can prevent them from happening is as simple of just agreeing on something for the citizens of America. This event takes place in Washington DC in the white house. This event is important because the shutdown messed with government services and could affect people's health care. The fight over money might change how people can afford insurance because a lot of people need Medicaid. 4 important factors on this event is that the democrats are refusing a "clean" funding bill, health care credits are about to end, the Medicaid cuts are causing big problems, and both political parties need to agree so this shutdown doesn't extend any longer than it already has been. One question I do have is that I wonder which party is gonna make a deal that is in the best interest of the American people, because the Democrats are refusing to give in. Sadly despite Trump's attempts to end the war, Israel still has continued to bomb Gaza, not only ending innocent lives with bombs but also with guns resulting in at least 67,139 people being killed and about 170,000 injured. As we speak, people are losing their family and loved ones while people in Israel are living their lives, while saying that it's only for self defense. Do you think this fight will stop anytime soon?
