As she skimmed thru the e-mail, she saw that Gannon University accepted her into their psychology program. As she told her family that she wanted to go to that university only one thought was in her head. “How was I going to survive living on my own in a foreign country?”

She liked to play and watch basketball with her sister and looked forward to reuniting with her friends and her father after he had a long shift at work. After graduating high school, she was ready to start her studies in psychology. After being accepted to Gannon University’s psychology program she was ready to pick up her life and move to the United States. After four years studying at Gannon and other foreign universities, by studying abroad, she graduated from Gannon with her undergraduate degree in psychology an went on to graduate school for eight years to get her doctorate in clinical psychology.

After ten years she became well known and respected in her field. She helped a wide variety of clients resolve or come to terms with their problems and helped them get through their dark times.  After thirty years she retired from her practice with many awards and published research papers.
