i fill sorry for indonesian peple when tyey were colonized by the dutch.
the indonesian peaple in the picture is being inspection because if the indonesian peaple have a gun the dutch will get a gun
but the dutch is have a gun to protect themselves.

My thoughts is :: it's suffering to live in that time and Indonesian were like under control , but from the picture the Dutch soldier just doing what they supposed to do for their safety.

The Dutch used to colonize us but I feel grateful now. I don't think the Netherlands are evil 'cause alot of colonys also colonize Indonesia and I don't think they're evil too. Now we are free and that what matters. (Ok not free free 'cause we are still in the pandemic)

In the picture, I can see the Dutch soldier terrorizing the Indonesian people. I cannot say whether the Dutch soldier was forced to do that or just do that with his own will. Sometimes, the things (can be bad or good) people do isn’t within their own will. It’s like they must obey and they must do it. Then, if they are forced, it isn’t their fault. It is the person who forced the other people who is wrong. So, to be honest, I cannot say whether the soldier is bad or good. Next, the Indonesian. The Indonesian people were scared by the Dutch soldier. It isn’t their fault or their choice. It is beyond their power to choose whether they will be treated that was or not. However, I am not saying that they are weak or scared but, they must stand up for themselves and Indonesia. If you cannot say your opinion, then no one will know what they need. Anyways, back to the facts, the Indonesian people are pictures to be scared. They are colonized by the Netherlands. Their freedom are controlled.

i feel sad because when Indonesia was colonized many people died because of the colonizm of Dutch and Japan. In this picture, i can see that colonized people wearing clothes but the clothes were dirty and the soldiers want to shoot the people who work for them. and they also torture the people of Indonesia and if the Indonesia people doesn't listen to the Dutches, they may k*ll the people who is being colonized.

The picture made me realize how much Indonesia used to suffer while getting colonized, though, I feel proud that we stop the colonizers. I am thankful for the heroes and what they did to defend Indonesia and how many lifes were sacrificed to get our independence. I hope more people realize and start appreciating our lifes right now! If the heroes didnt fight back for peace, we probably wouldnt be here right now. Hopefully we would remain a country with independence and will never get colonized again.

In the picture that Miss Karen send us, we can see the Dutch soldeirs inspecting Indonesian people. Its really sad to see the people of our nation suffering in pain when being under the colony of Dutch, im glad that this isint happening anymore because if it is we probably wouldnt be able to have school, see each other, play, etc.

In the picture, i can see that they inspected before entering the gate impolitely. They were colonized by the colony of Dutch. I feel so sad for them, because Indonesians were being controlled by the Dutch. They made our peoples did not have right to have peaceful and freedom.

My thought is indonesian people that live at that time suffered a lot. Indonesian people need to work for the dutch but did not get enough salary and lived in poverty. They were force to do the hard job for dutch people.
