Throughout this semester, one thing I’ve learned about teaching is that you can only help students so much. I want every student to excel in the course I teach, but students will not excel unless they are motivated to do so. I can’t force them to try. I can encourage them and provide them with the tools to succeed, but I can’t do much past that.

1. The one thing I learned about teaching is to constantly meet students where they’re at first to then build that foundation of what I’m going to teach. This allows us to have a better understanding of each other and most importantly the material taught.

2. One question I would have would be: How can you make some material more fun even with COVID? I have been very hesitant on having students working together in groups other than in class discussions.
