The Republican party holds strong american values as it bases its platform mostly on restoring the American dream and limiting government on the people of this great nation. The Republicans brand themselves with the idea that every American citizen should have the opportunity at the American dream. They believe that rebuilding the economy and bringing jobs back to the American people is the main concern. Another major objective of the Republican party is to reduce the nation's Federal debt. Their thought is that if they can put more Americans to work it will significantly help the nation's debt. The Republican's also believes they are the party of The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution. They stand for less government, more freedom. The party also puts a big emphasis on bettering the natural resources our country preserves. They call themselves the party of the American growers, producers, farmers, ranchers, foresters, and commercial fisherman. These jobs make up a large part of of our economy and play a big part in reducing our nations debt. While all these things are major focuses of the Republican party, I have yet to mention maybe the biggest of them all. The Conservatives will always strive to have the strongest military in the world. 2nd to none they believe the United States should be the strongest country in the world.

1. What stirred me the most while reading the Republican platform was the part where it talked about how the farmers, ranchers, foresters, and commercial fisherman play such a big part in our nations economy. I had little prior knowledge on this subject but I was astonished to find out how much backing those jobs had from the conservatives. It proves that the Republicans are truly pushing to create more jobs which will eventually help our nations debt.
2. After reading the platform I feel hopeful our country is headed in the right direction. To be specific, I felt I made the right vote after I read the part about bringing jobs back and creating more jobs for the American people. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to work and provide for their family. Thats exactly what this party believes in and pushes for.

3. My favor part of the platform was where it talks about gun control. The Party believes every American citizen should have the right to bare arms. This means any law-abiding American citizen has the right to purchase and conceal firearms to defend either their home or themselves. I believe in this strongly as I grew up around guns and believe guns are a part of the American dream. Guns have been in this country since it was founded and I think it would be unlawful to take them away from the people.

4. I think after reading the Conservatives platform I am very well informed on what the party stands for. I am proud to say that I believe in the Republican party and that they are our best shot to make America great again. Before reading the platform, I knew I wasn't up to date on what all the party stands for but I am glad I did. I learned a lot about the party and suggest anyone who struggles on deciding who to vote for to read each parties platform.

Critical evaluation of the 2016 Republican Party platform | part 3

Overall after reading the Republican Party platform, I feel like our country as awhole made the right decision in 2016 electing the Republican candidate Donald Trump. Many people think this is controversial but in my opinion we are headed in the right direction. While reading the platform, I noticed it covered many of the current economic and social problems we face in the United States today. I think it also covered issues that we've faced in the past as well as problems we might face in the future. I think the platform has a clear plan going forward and has what's best for the American people as its top priority. I think the strengths of the platform are where it talks about bringing jobs back to the American people as well as creating them. It goes in depth with how they plan to do that as well as why it is so important. It also talks about how creating jobs as well as bringing them back to the American people directly correlates with lowing our nation's debt. That was reassuring to not only me but the American people. I think another strength of this platform was where it talks about improving higher education so it gives everyone a equal shot at an education. This is important as an education is basically a necessity if you want to get a good paying job. Overall, I think the platform was very helpful in helping me understand more of what the government does for us. It educated me on many issues that I had no prior knowledge on as well as addressing many issues we face today in society. I can't think of anything that would of made this platform more beneficial. As I said before I suggest anyone who struggles with deciding who to vote for as I learned a lot while reading the 2016 Republican Party platform.
