The swallow The story takes place in a small town. where a flight of swallows were migrating to Egypt for the winters. but one little swallow fell in love with a weed. After six months the swallow relised it was just a plant. Then the swallow sees a golden statue of the happy prince. He sat there when he felt a tear drop he looked up to see the happy prince crying. The happy prince told the swallow to give the ruby to a single mother and her son. Then the swallow wanted to leave and go to Egypt, but the happy prince stoped it. Then told the swallow

To give the sapphire from his eye to a little girl whose maches fell into the gutter. The swallow gave the ruby to the little girl. Then the swallow wanted to finally go to Egypt. But again the happy prince stoped it and told it to go and the sapphire from its other eye to a play writer who used the money for fire wood. The swallow told the happy prince that it will stay by its side. The happy prince told the swallow to give gold flakes to all in need. After the swallow ended up dying and the statue was taken down because it wasn’t worth anything
