   • We should always respect them

   • Use soft tones when talking to them

   • Give their lectures undivided attention

   • Help them whenever they need a hand

   • Speak nicely to them, they are our first teachers

   • Always try our best to make them happy

   • Never oppose them

   • Always ask them before going out

Al-Quran is the Book of Guidance given upon the last Prophet. It is not an ordinary book, but a message of Allah to all mankind.

Five pillars of Islam

• Shahadah: The declaration of faith that "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God" 

• Salah: The practice of praying five times a day 

• Zakat: The practice of giving a portion of one's income to charity 

• Sawm: The practice of fasting, such as during Ramadan 

• Hajj: The practice of making a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca

• Belief in Allah

Ihsan can be defined as attaining perfection or excellence in the deployment of righteousness on Earth. Also, Ihsan is the act of doing things as if Allah is right in front of us.

- "To do good" or "to do something in the best way"

- Wanting to do the best because they believe Allah is always watching.

- Need to be implemented anywhere

- Do the best in everything even without reward

- The study of death, judgement, final destination of the soul and human kind.

Minor signs of hereafter

- Women outnumbered men

Importance of studying Eschatology

- To strengthen faith

Set a right intention (niyyah)

- start with your niyyah. Set it right, do it for Allah, do it for the long-life benefits of it, do it for society, to mengeratkan silaturrahim. Not only to pass.

Right amal - ikhlas

- even kita rasa benda tu tak berbaloi, in the eyes of Allah, he accept our testimonies.

- sometimes it's hard to know whether we're ikhlas or not. So just continue doing it, one day it will come by itself.

Ihsan

- A feeling of being watched by Allah in anything we do.

- Muhsin; the highest form of a believer.

- Doing something wholeheartedly, because of Allah.

- Surah Al-Fajr, verse 25

- About seeking Allah's knowledge

- Seek knowledge for Allah, to please Him

Reasons and sources of hikmah of ibadah

Main ibadah in Islam

1. Salah

- Al-Ankabut, 45

- Salah is a way to discipline ourselves.

- Salah and Quran can't be separated; in Salah we recite Al-Fatihah, the opening of the Quran.

- Perfect prayer becomes a fortress between us and sin; if you don't feel guilty before committing a sin, you need to check your prayer.

2. Sawm

- Al-Baqarah, 183

- Sawm develops taqwa, empathy and discipline.

- It helps believers; recognize Allah's constant observation, weakening Satan's influence, fostering acts of worship.

3. Zakat

- At-Tawbah, 103

- Zakat is about property.

- It purifies wealth and self, fostering generosity and reducing greed.

- It cleanses sins and bad habits and supports the needy.

- Zakat gives benefits for us and people around us.

4. Hajj

- Al-Baqarah, 197

- Hajj disciplines us to follow Allah's commandments and abstain from prohibited acts.

- Avoids indecent acts and stays devoted to worship and good deeds.

Surah Luqman: how lukman takes care of children
1. Do not associate partners with Allah.
2. Be good to both parents.
3. Always serve them well when they are urged to associate partners with Allah.
4. Every evil or good deed the size of a mustard seed will be rewarded by Allah.
5. Establish prayer, call for goodness and forbid evil, be patient in trials.
6. Do not be arrogant.
7. Walk slowly and lower your voice when speaking.

Virtues found in salah with khusyuk
1. Al-Taat (Submission/loyalty)
2. Al-Jihad (Struggle in the path of Allah)
3. Iffah (Modesty)
4. Tawaddu' (Humility)
5. Muhasabah (Reflection)

Here, we played mentimeter and shared some of our questions and things we experience during ramadhan. Then, we talked about the things to do while on our period during Ramadhan;

1. Listen to Quran

2. Focus on act of Sadaqah

3. Use last third of the night to make duas

4. Use time for prayer, for zikr

5. Strengthens Islamic knowledge

6. Cook iftar for those that are fasting

Literal: Growth, increase

Technical: Determined share of wealth prescribed by God to be distributed among deserving catagories.

The virtues of Zakah;

1. Tawakkul (reliance on Allah)

   • Training Muslims to rely on Allah.

   • Assuring Muslims that Allah will replace what is given for His sake.

2. Ukhuwwah

   • Foster's love, empathy, and unity.

   • Purifies the heart from envy and hatred.

3. Bridging relationships

   • Vertical correlation: Relationship with Allah.

   • Horizontal correlation: Relationship with humans.

   • It combines spiritual and social dimensions.

There I include list of individuals who are obliged to pay zakah, according to their relevance.

I hope that when I entered main campus in Gombak, the usrah there would do the same, bringing me into lots and more good things and knowledges.
