What writing means to me? Writing to me is an escape. An escape from the facade that I put on; I'll hide behind the mask that I  use  everyday. Writing has always been a chore for me. It was a way to prove to my mother that I can be as  good as my brother. But Mdm Wati, she taught me how writing is not a task or a quota to be completed by the end of the month. It should be your thoughts, your opinions and a revelation of who you are. The reason why I love writing is because my spoken words are usually taken as a joke or a sarcastic remark. Sitting down at the end of the day and writing how I feel allows me to experience relaxation and relief. Although sometimes it may be painful or embarrassing, getting it out of my system through paper helps me to be the individual I am, today.
