Opinion: it should be a school-wide policy that students should not be able to take phone to bathroom during class as it is instructional time. Being inconsistent could be problematic for students. -Heather C

For the first week of school when we are teaching students about the policy but not heavily enforcing, is there any circumstance where a teacher can/should call for phone removal? (E.g. multiple warnings have been given, many minutes have passed without the phone being put away)

Could we have a common sentence or two that all teachers will say when they have to take a phone? (E.g., "Kate, someone will be coming to pick up your phone in a few minutes"). So that teachers feel confident and students know what to expect?
