First of all, you should be able to protect the private information of your own and your closes.
Here are the types of information you better pay attention to, when posting something online:
• Passwords
• Addresses
• Embarrassing photos
• Betraying comments

Secondly, try to skip negativity.
Negative comments about someone or something can be as hurtful as in the real life. Don’t be hiding under the anonymous mask and bravely writing negative comments to people. Stay positive and express you point of view correctly without any offensive comments. If you can’t do that, avoid writing anything at all. If you are already a part of some kind of mean conversation, exit it and don’t come back. The critique is helpful only when it’s constructive, so think twice before sending your message.

Thirdly, forgive other’s mistakes. Sometimes it can be painful to read the messages with grammar and spelling mistakes. Remember that we are all human beings and all of us make errors. People may be writing in a language other than their own, or just accidentally write something wrong. Be kind when correcting other’s mistakes.
