Activities are a great way to teach children about different disabilities. For example, if they are learning about children with hearing impairments they could wear ear plugs and the teacher could read them a book with white noise in the background. After the book is complete the teacher would ask them questions on how it felt to not hear as clearly as they usually do. This would promote an understanding of what its like to have a hearing impairment.
