         <title>As a conclusion, types of container and closure are important parameters to be considered during packaging in order to maintain the integrity of the products. As the relative humidity of the environment increases, the moisture permeation rate also increases. Too high permeation rate of moisture may accelerate the hydrolysis of drug and thus loss its therapeutic efficacy. Thus, the relative humidity must keep within the recommended range. The amber glass bottle with screw cap is found to be most resistant to moisture penetration compare to white plastic bottle with screw cap and transparent white bottle with insert cap.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There are many different types of containers made of different kind of materials. These containers need to have certain characteristics to ensure the quality of the products contained in them is maintained for a reasonable time frame.&nbsp;<br><br>From this experiment, it can be seen that the white plastic bottle is the most effective against moisture permeation, followed by amber glass bottle and transparent plastic bottle while the best storage humidity among 75%, 85% and 96% is found to be 85%.&nbsp;<br>In pharmaceutical industry, the knowledge of suitable storage condition for drug is very important to maximize the shelf life. Drug that are improperly stored could either have a decreased efficacy or develop reactions to form toxic precipitate. This would be dangerous to the patients and it could also cause a huge loss to the manufacturer.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
