Over the last few centuries, it’s thought that dozens of ships and planes have disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the area, earning it the nickname “The Devil’s Triangle.” People have even gone so far as to speculate that it’s an area of extra-terrestrial activity or that there is some bizarre natural scientific cause for the region to be hazardous; but most likely, it’s simply an area in which people have experienced a lot of bad luck—the idea of it being a “vortex of doom” is no more real than Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster

On Feb. 1, 2003, space shuttle Columbia broke up as it returned to Earth, killing the seven astronauts on board. NASA suspended space shuttle flights for more than two years as it investigated the disaster.
An investigation board determined that a large piece of foam fell from the shuttle's external tank and fatally breached the spacecraft wing. This problem with foam had been known for years, and NASA came under intense scrutiny in Congress and in the media for allowing the situation to continue.

22-year old Elizabeth Short was very active at promoting herself into showbiz at the time the Black Dahlia murder occurred, however, no one knew of the killer or who actually did the murder."The Black Dahlia" was a nickname given to Elizabeth Short an American woman who was the victim of a much-publicized murder in 1947. Short acquired the moniker posthumously from newspapers in the habit of nicknaming crimes they found particularly lurid. The "Black Dahlia" nickname may have been derived from a film noir murder mystery, The Blue Dahlia, released in April 1946. Short's unsolved murder has been the source of widespread speculation, leading to many suspects, along with several books, television and film adaptations of the story.

Ghosts are a particular manifestation of a belief in life after death. Though the specifics vary among groups, a ghost is generally understood to be the disembodied spirit or soul of a once-living person. Sometimes the spirit belongs to a deceased animal.
A ghost is said to linger on earth when the person died in a traumatic way, or when his burial ritual was disturbed before it was complete, or sometimes just because the spirit feels like it. Pesky or disruptive ghosts are called poltergeists. Some groups believe that ghosts are actually demons, or evil angels.
Not all belief systems around the world allow for spirits or souls that linger on earth after death, but some do. In fact, many do. The concept is popular in spiritualist circles and many Christian faiths as well. With so many theologies that allow for an immediate spiritual life after death, it is no wonder that ghosts are so popular.

Polonium...
Discovered in 1898, the radioactive element Polonium was the cause of death of Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader and Russian dissident. Polonium is amongst the deadliest poisons of the 21st century. It has no use in biological science since it is extremely lethal to all living organisms. Its most common form is Polonium 210, which is allegedly 250,000 times more deadly than hydrogen cyanide. This explains why the Americans employed its toxicity in the World War II to bring down Nagasaki in what they called the Manhattan Project's Dayton Project. In theory, a gram of Polonium 210 could wipe out 10 million people if ingested, injected or inhaled. If the radiation doesn’t kill you, then you are likely to get cancer.
