Relationships: relationships may be stressed or chaotic depending on household; demonstrate a calm, caring and trusting relationship for the child. <br><br>7.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1. When assigning work that requires internet use, a computer, or other expensive</div><div>resources allow school time for these to be completed.<br><br>2. Connect parent involvement by providing childcare, transportation and being flexible on time to fit their schedules.<br><br>3. Make sure that all students are provided with the same curricular and same</div><div>opportunities with the same expectations whether they are from poverty or wealth.<br><br>4. Teach about injustices that unfairly affect the poor.<br><br>5. Keep extra supplies of basic needs on hand for students that cannot afford them or are lacking these items. Make these available discretely to avoid embarrassment.<br><br>6. Create curriculum that engages all students’ life experiences not just wealthy or poor.<br><br>7. Strive to make all programs available to all financial backgrounds.<br><br>8. Don’t give up on connecting with parents even if they seem unresponsive.&nbsp;<br><br>9. Keep pushing peers to stand up to the challenge and not be judgmental of students and families from poverty.&nbsp;</div><div><br>10. Always challenge ourselves to avoid being bias or prejudice by educating ourselves about poverty the cycle that comes with it.</div>]]></description>
