My vision for the future is to achieve my dream of obtaining a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and start a new career working within the criminal justice system, specifically working for an organisation whose objective is to create a more effective and humane prison systems and corrective services.

My vision of success is to have a meaningful life by living in a way that demonstrates compassion and equality towards others in all my actions, to never stop exploring, travelling and experiencing different people and cultures (which will allow me to embrace my natural curiosity about life), and to earn enough money to comfortably support my family and my past times.

I strongly value health and wellbeing, enjoyment and leisure time, a sense of belonging and exploration, all of which play important roles in the my main core value of family. These values are reflected in my interest in hiking and exploring the world around me with my family, whether its a trip overseas or simply visiting a new area of my town.

Pia Sinha's goal is to replicate the changes that have been applied to Youth Justice in the redirection of young people away from the prison system, to the female offender population. Sinha is vocal in her belief that we need to reduce the female prison population by directing them through alternative programs similar to those offered to young offenders.

Careers within the criminal justice system require excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, and successfully communicate, with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities and people with complex and compounding needs such as homelessness, mental health challenges, intellectual disability, alcohol and substance use, and experiences of trauma.
