         <description><![CDATA[<div>Due to gold having only one valence electron, Gold is extremely reactive. The goal for all elements is to have a full valence shell. So with Gold only having one valence electron it is always trying to mix with other elements from group 7 to get rid of its one valence electron. By doing this it is fulfilling its job.</div>]]></description>
