Some rural schools are left behind sticking with their traditional learning which detain students from the excitement of learning English as well as improving their English proficiency. This is influenced by the cultural setting of the particular place. Therefore this paper wish to study and compare the attitude and motivation of students of rural and urban areas secondary school students in learning English.
