The weather isn't too extreme as it never gets extremely hot or extremely cold. Also, Toronto rarely has natural disasters. Also, Toronto is very close to the St Lawrence which goes to the ocean and makes Toronto a good place for exporting and importing. That also benefits the economy which is good for Toronto. Soil - Toronto`s soil is very good for agriculture and there is a lot of agriculture in the Toronto area. This is good for Toronto`s economy making it a great place to live.
Natural Vegetation - Toronto area`s natural vegetation and plant life varies. The forests are mixed forests with Coniferous, Spruce, Fir, Tamarack, Aspen, Alder, Maple, Cherry, Black Ash, Hemlock, Poplar, Willow, and Cedar. It is made up of mostly metamorphic and igneous rocks. It is covered in a thin layer of soil. In the Canadian Shield there are landforms such as rock walls, bodies of water, and mountains.
