Short Description:
Students will think about this weeks lesson and reflect on what they learned. This is a chance for them to also think if there was anything they didn't quite understand. This is a way for me to see what students know and need more help on.

Grade Level Appropriateness: K-5

Short Description: I will ask the students questions to get them thinking about the weeks lesson. After I ask the question, they will move to a corner of the room that reflects with what they think. I will then call on some students to share why they chose that particular side.

Short Description:
This activity is a way for students to ask questions another about the lesson. The questions initiate conversation among the students with responses and additional questions. Students learn to formulate questions that address the topic to facilitate their own discussion to gain a deeper understanding.

Short Description: In this activity, students will be responding to the given prompt pertaining to the lesson or weeks material. They will write  3) things they learned from the lesson; 2) things they want to know more about; and 1) questions they have. This is a great way for me to learn how my students learn and what they may need for work on.

Grade Level Appropriateness: K-5

Short Description: This activity is a way for me to check in with my students throughout or at the end of a lesson to see how they are feeling.
 I will give students 3 different emojis. 
The first one will be the heart eyes which means- I definitely understand the learning goal, and material and can teach a friend.
The second one will be a smiley face which means- I understand it but am still making sense of it all.
The last will be a questioning face which means- I'm not completely sure I understand.
I will have students use this and help me check the students understanding
