Because Most things we do/need have to do with water and animals need water to survive. First of all to make it official that we need water and should allow clean water in the future. (Tell us how to get/keep clean water.)

Coral reefs are mostly known for how beautiful and versatile they are, but as beautiful they are considered, they have major threats that could damage them and make them completely disappear such as marine pollution, rising water temperatures, climate change and more. All these are horrible but marine pollution is the most damaging to coral reefs as said in Source 1 "This pollution is the greatest danger to the survival of coral reefs." How is all this harming coral reefs people may wonder?

A large amount of marine species of course "find food and shelter in coral reefs." as said in Source 1 "Rain Forests of The Sea" and "They are all part of a delicate balance of creatures that rely on each other to stay alive." Therefore, other sea creatures rely on them to live because they know the risk of what could happen if they didn’t rely on them for their lives, if they all were to be destroyed because of world problems like marine pollution or rising water temperatures, etc., this would make it difficult for other marine species to survive knowing their source of food and shelter is gone. Pollution and other worldly issues like shipping, plastic bags, glass, metal, etc, can do serious damage to the sea.

However, I don’t just mean marine pollution, which is also an issue, but we're mainly talking about Land- based pollution and Global warming which is mentioned in Source 2 that is affecting coral reefs. BUT the good thing is there is a way we can fix these problems, and its very simple. "Just stop polluting our government." clearly stated in Source 1, if we stop putting trash everywhere, fix poor sewage, and eliminate things that could harm the sea, this problem will have a great solution. And for global warming which I said is mentioned in Source 2, there are a few things we should be aware of before talking about the solution.

First off is global warming is very harmful to coral reefs and are actually destroying them, "Global warming is caused when carbon dioxide and other gases are trapped in the atmosphere." so this gas prevents heat from escaping, which makes air including water temperatures to rise, This leads to coral reefs having what's mentioned in Source 2 as well "Coral bleaching." this is when it gets a white appearance and the polyps most likely die, so for animals who rely on coral reefs and polyps could also die, just because they use this as a food source or shelter. But the solution to fix this, is better with energy conservation and mass transportation, in addition to this we can also volunteer to clean up waterways.

This is how worldly activities and issues can make marine animals or source of food and shelter in danger, but we also have a solution for these problems.

This is bad for the ocean and most people know it, but they still do it every day. In the second story, teenagers help older adults learn how to use technology, like email, smartphones, and social media. At first, both groups were unsure about each other, but they ended up learning a lot. The seniors gained new tech skills, and the teens learned patience and gained respect for the older generation. As one teen tutor said, (“I think it’s a very good idea to work on your patience and be more understanding when it comes to what’s going on in their minds.” 13)They even became friends, showing that both young and old have something valuable to share.

Both stories show that people from different generations can learn from each other when they take time to listen and share. The dad and son bonded over their favorite sports, while the teens and seniors connected through technology. In both cases, they gained respect for each other’s experiences. These stories prove that age doesn’t matter when it comes to learning something new.

People from different generations may have different interests, but that doesn’t mean they can’t connect and learn from each other. Whether it’s sports or technology, both young and old have something valuable to share. These stories show that with patience and an open mind, generations can understand each other better. In the end, learning goes both ways — and it can even bring people closer together.
