People also go to mass when they celebrate it religiously. Christmas is the opportunity to celebrate with the family together around a nice meal and to exchange gifts around the traditional Christmas tree. Out in the streets, ornaments and lights are everywhere and markets are organised.
Santa is in charge of bringing presents, he is represented as an old man with a long white beard and a red cloak. This character is accompanied by a whole folkore like a flying sleigh pulled by reindeers and letters of request for gifts.

There are four rooms : the Theater, the Palace of the Mirages, the cupola room, and the Hall of the Columns . The Grévin museum is a museum with wax statues that represent celebrities. There is the same in London : «  Mrs Thussaud’s Museum ». It’s a big and famous monument.

4) The acidulous apples

The harvest takes place in October.

There are many other attractions there. 
It is situated in a small village called la Ferrière-Harang, not far from our school.
