Bohr's theory states that the electron's (negatively charged particles) orbit around the nucleus is like a planets orbit. It is basically a modified version of RutherFord's model but with specific shape/orbit. It is usually described per orbit line namely x, 2x and 3x which compares the particles' energy and how much it is attached to the nucleus.
