The theme of this exhibition displays a transition from the old world to the new and evolving year of 2024. As we all know 2024 is the year of change. Technology is advancing, relationships are advancing, and emotions are advancing. As the world continues to advance itself, so do the people living within. Minds and thought processes are misconstrued, exaggerated, and taken advantage of. The exhibit starts as an example of how the world used to look. It was dull, bland, and uninviting. The change and advancement in these artworks transitioning into the world of 2024 shows a bright and inviting sense of warmth. Along the way there are hurdles and humps that not only society had to face, but also each functioning individual within society had to face. The battle between partners, ones own self battle, and worldwide pandemic shape the world into what it is today, and what it is today is bright, advancing, and most of all full of love and life.

(BROCHURE is located below all artworks.)

PICTURE #3:

As the transition into 2024 occurs, the mind transitions as well. A word to describe one's mind as 2024 approaches is "trapped." The mind is one of the most powerful things to exist. The world is constantly changing, causing so much noise and distress. The stress can overwhelm the mind, making everything around seem scrambled. The year 2024 is a busy year causing the mind to be busy.

PICTURE #6:

Women have developed and come such a long way since the beginning of 2024. There is nothing that a woman can't do that a man can. This picture is a prime example of feminism and independence. Women continue to set themselves up for greatness and strive to be the best and most independent versions of themselves as the years go on.

PICTURE #7:

A big transition that altered brain chemistry, as well as emotional stability, was a worldwide pandemic referred to and popularly known as COVID-19. The doctors were overwhelmed and the individuals affected by the life-altering pandemic were isolated from peer contact and all of social life. Depression rates were insanely high and the mental stability of society was at a rapid decline. Isolation is never good for the mind or body and will always affect an individual emotions and way of life.

PICTURE #9:

This picture sums up the overall feeling of 2024. No matter the internal battles that have been endured and the emotional stress that has arisen through the hardships, perseverance, strength, hope, and love always end up on top. Never give up on yourself or those around you. Have a positive mindset and outlook on life. The year of 2024 is an emotional rollercoaster with ups and downs, but overall 2024 is a year of growth, friendship, and love.
