But he never supported violence, and became very religious throughout his life. In school, he was very shy and was bullied because of his appearance. He was mad that English was the primary language instead of an Indian language. He didn't like the division of rich and poor people! Once Gandhi finished grade school, he went on to be a lawyer. He went to England to study, but didn't like their way of life, so he went to South Africa. Many people were killed and they started to regret marching. But his true followers continued to fight for what they thought was right! After a couple of years Gandhi decided to not buy any of the British products. His plan was that the British would struggle financially and would release some taxes. His plan worked, but it was hard. People still hated him and racially judged him. Sadly, one day, a man shot him and Gandhi was killed. Gandhi still lives on today for all the things he has done. His religious behavior, like fasting for weeks, was amazed upon by many.
