This photo was captured and edited by an artist called Mihaela Ivanova. This photo, among many others, caught my eye because there is just so many questions to ask about this photo – Why is she covering her eyes with somebody else’s? Who is that man? Is she sad? Why is she hiding who she actually is? And these sort of questions is what I want my audience to be asking.

He does Photography in the 2nd year and knew what I wanted to achieve. I chose to do gender differences and religion/cultural differences. I put the mask on my face, stood in the college toilet and took this photo in the mirror. It gives that message that anybody could be a psycho - going through different problems - anybody.

However instead, I stretched his face out to make it look unrecognisable and strange. If I was to see this image and I didn't know anything about it, I would think, why is his face blurred out?
