I would prefer to be a Nomad as they get to travel around. Nomads travel with their herds of goat, sheep and camel.

I would prefer to travel around and live in a tent than have a stable home in the city. I think it would be nicer to have animals and sell their produce than travel far distances to sell silk and gold.

I also like chickens and other farm animals this is another reason I would opt to being a Nomad.

I would see desert for a long time, the road I would take would not be paved. Vague footsteps would guide me, buried under sand. I would have a drink from my canteen every 5 minutes because of the burning weather. Each trip costs almost as much as I earn due to the loss of camels and the expenses paid for water.

I would imagine me being in the caravan looking outside and see traders go to civilizations, i could also see that I would have to negotiate the prices. I would also see myself being robbed by bandits, then returning home egger to drink water.

If you would travel in a caravan you would travel for weeks in desserts. You would be riding directly in the sun. You would see different cultures as you go from town to town. People would be trading silk, cloth and spices. Matthew

I like exploration, plus, less death. Where would I go, I will never know, just far away from war. I think being a townsperson would be worse because they get treated badly while nomads don’t get treated. I wouldn’t be in a clan either. It is the safest way.

After a few weeks of traveling I’m done there are so many bad conditions and the landscape its so terrible and lonely i’m going insane all i see is sand for weeks at a time and were still 2 weeks away i’m dying of boredom and don’t get me started on the food and water. I get 5 sips a day with some bread and cheese while the leader gets what ever he wants!!! Oops got to go or im going to get found

I would be a Nomad because of type of independence and not being only in one place. I like be in contact with nature and live in a tent. The only thing that I would be aware was the wild animal, I hate looking at disgusting bugs.

I think being a Nomad because not only is it much safer i would have a higher chance of finding water and food. Also being a townsperson would be very scary even just walk-in around is dangerous because you could get killed or robed. Fore theses reasons i would much rather be a Nomad

If i was a caravan, i think i would be very tired from having to be awake for a long time and having to ride camels. I would need to cary a lot of water for our tribe and the camels. I would get bored of looking at sand for a long period of time and maybe experience some heat strokes.

If I was a caravan I would always be tired from traveling a lot and having to travel by camels and stopping for only a little time to keep up the pace and it would probably be very big desert for like a lot of the time.and the weather would be very hot at all times making it a very difficult job because you would be sweating 24/7.

When we travelled through Arabia a lot of the landscape was desert. We had to stop at oasis' to get water and give water to our camels. We are relying on our camels so it's important to give them water. The weather is extremely hot so it's important to stay hydrated. I am travelling with my uncle, dad and cousin. We have been travelling for 4 weeks now, trading spices and cloth.

if i was traveling with a caravan i would see the orange yellow sand and the green spikes on the cactuses i would also see the camels footprint and the peoples prints i would see the orange red sun going down and i would here the animals in the dessert calling out for each other and i’d also see the beautiful stars.

I would go through bad weather for example, sand storms, much heat, barely any water, dangerous animals/bugs, i could run out of water and food easily on my trip specially water as i get thirsty every few minutes from the horrible heat and weather, bandits. I would see lots and lots of sand and i would travel with my clan.

Being high in power would be extremely lucky because even just finding food and water is very hard.even worse you could be a slave a no have the luxury to know how to Wright. Writers would at lease have a way o make money because poems were very popular. Being the caliph would be extremely lucky because being killed would be very unlikely. Unlike peasants and Nomads

I would like to live in a community with my tribe with friends than be traveling constantly in caravans. It would feel nice to live in one big town and know my surroundings. There would also be a less chances of running into bandits in the long desert roads. Plus if there was ever a food or water shortage it would be easier to get water or food and in the middle of the desert it would be hard to get fresh food and water.

I would get to travel and sell the goods i've collected along the way. Also if i didn’t t like the place I was at I could move to find a better and meet a variety of people during my travels. They could be good or bad maybe they'll join me or maybe they’ll rob me. Being a Nomad i would also see more.

Being a towns person would also be nice having you own place to stay at for a long time. But it would be dangerous with all the tribes also you might get bored at one point.

I can imagine a long line of camels, colourful tents and cloths laid over each one. Merchants at the saddles, the goods behind them, in the large tents behind them, perched over the camels back.

I can imagine a rocky hill made from sand stone. A group of bandits stand on the hill, shaded by a small twisted tree, the bandits stare at the caravan, impatient to pounce.

People were split up in different groups/clans/gangs. This is how the people sorted because loyalty are first so people joined gangs to prove their loyalty. It was also only ways to get protection. Then there is a visor was a advisor to the claph. Then their is the claph he is the person of the top of the society. The people higher up on the chain had slaves to work for them. Matthew

There would be a big desert, the sky is clear blue, I am walking with peasants from my small village which is hundreds of miles away. I can hear the tall camels coming from behind me, as the merchants continue walking and blabbering about how great they’re lives are. I stop and drink water from my flask. The man behind me starts to shout and tell me to move. I quickly close the flask and start walking again. We stop halfway through the road to feed our camels and check if everything is okay. We then continue and I feel the hot breeze flush the tiredness out of my face. I hear several men screaming at other merchants, blaming them for the loss of their camels. The day continues, as we walk down the Silk Road.

Being a Normad because I wouldn’t be in danger most of times and i get to sell goods and get goods in return. I wouldn’t be going to war all the time and i could be trusted. As if i was in the village and someone did something bad, I wouldn’t be trusted enough and could be killed.

I believe it would be better to be a townsperson because being a nomad would mean you would have to travel a lot in the extremely hot desert so I would much rather just like have a shop in the town and I believe it would be nice to live with my tribe/clan also it would be easier to get food or water if there was a shortage

Even thought Muslims said they were equal in sharing ideas it doesn’t mean they were equal on the terms of power. At the were the Caliph, Vizier and Sheiks. These people controlled what happened to the society.

Next came the middle class. The middle class was made up of Farmers,Traders,Craftspeople, Shopkeepers and more. A important group were the Warraqeen who would sold books with thousands of pages.

Lastly there was the middle class which was made up of the slaves and workers. They. Had the hardest jobs with worst conditions.

There would be different types of people in Arabia. If you were a peasant, it would be hard to get money, food and water supplies. You also wouldn’t be able to experience the luxuries that the high powers would have. There were also merchants and Nomads, who would either sell goods within their cities or travel on the Silk Road to receive goods from other places and travel around and earn money. The high power people would have no problem with earning money or having food supplies. They would have such luxuries that others could not pursue.

I think it was socially organised. There was a social class higherachie as well as a higherachie for the more important people.The Vizer is the right hand man to the Caliph, the Sultan is the military adviser. The peasants were at the bottom of the higerachie.

The bottom there would be the peasants, they would work on farms and herd animals around. It was hard for them to do anything as they were always busy. The middl3 ones would be the merchants as they traded goods for goods over long distances. Warraqeen are a group of people which made paper, copied manuscripts and bound them into books and sold them. Sheik were tribe leaders that were chosen by a family elders, making them take control over their tribe and the upper one are the Caliph. They were the rulers of the society who expected to be leaders in peace, they had most control and power over everyone.

I will see a lot of sand and mountains, sometimes in the middle of the desert when you are walking you can fine a desert oasis I see palm trees and a small lake clean water that helps some trees in the desert grow. the sun will be very hot because there is no shade. you can find yellow, brown, black sometimes even white mountain. sometimes in the desert you can see some animals like birds, snakes, wolf. in the sand I saw foot prints from people who were walking here before me, foot prints are good because if you get lost you can follow your foot print and go back out where you came from.

there was no king or queen but they were living family's then clans and then tribes, the tribe always protect each other even if they did something wrong they would blame it on someone else, some of the people in the tribe thought that wasn't fair so they made their own clan and called it the lovers of justice, what they do is that they blame the person who did something wrong even if he/she in their clan, they tried to do the right thing by giving justice to who deserves it. the two jobs that are known the most were either traveling and trading or they are breading sheep's.
