If I am not at the gym, the lake, pool, or playing the newest video game, you can find me going on walks with my dog. We are always out in the community helping out and meeting new doggie friends. Brinkley also celebrated her 10th birthday in 2024.

I have been to places like Cozumel, Mexico to scuba dive. I have been to Florida to venture into Hollywood Studio's and build a Sith lightsaber. I have been to every state in the south besides Kentucky, North Carolina, And Virginia. As a history teacher, I love geography and my goal is to visit the Grand Canyon after my first year of teaching.

Our classroom should be a free space for you to speak your mind. We will go over some topics we are all not comfortable with throughout our history. You may leave the classroom with permission anytime you start having strong emotions on the topics. Just make sure I know where you are.

Every now and then a storm blows though our land and blocks roads. Sometimes wildfires break out and we must move cows, sheep, and horses around to keep them safe.

I know Freshmen year can feel the same way. The truth is my family doesn't handle it alone. We have each other, the fire department, kind neighbors, and a strong community. You are a part of this community in my classroom.

Together we can clear those roads, put our fires, learn about our country and our world together. That's what humans do, and I believe anything is possible, even you achieving an (A+) in my class.
