The series was released in 2016 but became extremely popular last year. Episodes are 20/30 minute long and there are only 2 seasons, so it's easy to binge-watch. The story revolves around a woman in her 30ish who is trying to cope with her personal life in London (the main actress is also the writer and producer of the show, which is based on a monologue she wrote for Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013). I think the script is rather witty, the directing is great and the cast is wonderful. Here you have the trailer in case you want to give it a go:

It is essentially a dramatic retelling of the chaos undergone within a popular news morning show when co- anchor Mitch Kessler, starred Steve Carell, is fired for sexual harassment. Each episode is full of tension and keeps you holding your  breath until the end. The stars are all playing out their skins, too. Reese Witherspoon, is great, but Jennifer Aniston reveals to be a truly increíble dramatic actor. No wonder she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for her outstanding performance. THE BEST what I've seen this bloody year! And guess what? It's about the end of the world, that didn't happen ( just mentioning this here, so you keep reading). It's a COMEDY, yes! 
If you are still reading, I would say that this series definitely has a whale of positivity and simply makes you strongly believe that is going to be all fine whatsoever. Because the armageddon was close...good guys stopped it...all that nice stuff...you know...
For those who haven't smashed their mobile phones against the wall after these lines, I want give some kudos. You are valiant, absolutely lovely people I' ve ever met. Addmitedly, the most lenient ones.
What can give you this series is a totally new perspective on the world and how the good and evil are devided. I can even name it philosophical. Sophisticated English humor is like an icing on the cake.
The only thing I guarantee is that you have no chance to stay impartial after watching this. I bet, it is exactly what you need these days. I needed it.

It has two other sequels, which I can't believe I haven't watched yet, but maybe now it's the time! Honestly, the plot is simple but I think that's the reason why I like it so much. It's interesting to see how two people unexpectedly connect while travelling and how they exchange opinions and ideas about trivial and not so trivial stuff.
