Although I believe this cover letter does a good job of portraying your passion for aerospace engineering, I believe that it lacks some vital information. Despite stating how certain skills will help you in the field, your emphasis on yourself and how you like to watch rocket launches and read NASA books does not benefit the company (or if it does please explain how). For instance, in the last paragraph you stated "I would love nothing more than to be an aerospace engineer" maybe you could change that to something like, "I would love nothing more that to help NASA continue on their explorations." Also please state how your education will help the company. Thank you!

There is a lot of passion and dedication evident within this cover letter. However, I would not hire you due to multiple issues. One being a formatting issue. Cover letters are suppose to be short, specific, and easy to read. This allows the hiring committee to get a quick glance of who you are and look into your resume more if they are interested. On top of this, make sure to include information about the company, such as an address, in the top left corner and at the bottom of the page, include "sincerely" and then sign your name. Also, make sure to embrace a more professional tone throughout the letter and really emphasize why you are fit for the position

To me I think the biggest issue that when you state the different traits that you have that would allow you to do the job well (which I feel is good to show), you don't say how or why you have these traits. Anyone can say that they are a leader or something but if you state different experiences that you have that would showcase that you have gained (or have) these traits I think it would be better. However I do realize that the point of the cover letter is to be short so you would have to do this without going into much detail (which stinks but oh well).
