tbh,i really like how u teach and explain the topics or discussion we are having,its not just understable but also fun.And i love how u reassure everyone in terms of how u are doing or asking if we understand the lesson:>

I just wanna say that I like your way of teaching and how it's enjoyable and entertaining, I get excited whenever you're our next class subject, your class helps calm me down just like earlier, I'm glad you were our first subject cause I was in a really bad mood and was at my lowest, but your Filipino class helped me calm down, not only do you teach, but you also help other people brighten up their mood

as for the teaching part, I don't think you have to change anything at all, we understand your teachings, and when we recite you explain our answers clearly and provide context, I like that about you ( ^ _ ^ ) I'm really glad we have you as our teacher hihii

the day you spoke in student orientation, your voice sounded so clear and it was like you had confidence. in a way, you were unique out of all the teachers, but not like i'm saying the rest lacked something, since i admire all teachers and they are all great in their own ways. there was just an aspect about you that made you well- uniquely you. and in a way, you were the embodiment of someone i wanted to be as i continue to grow older. someone who's able to speak loud and clear, who can explain and express what's on their mind with the right exact words, someone who I try to be. :3 You inspire people well, you're thoughtful, and always sees the efforts of others. Because you're undoubtedly kind.

and those are the reasons why each classes we have makes it lively. You accept any answers, you're trying to help us improve in what we lacked (for example: confidence.), and you see through the surface of our works and instead noticed the efforts we give into it. with you as our teacher, you allow us to express ourselves more properly and help us reach our greatest potential. (bro... i'm so sorry if i have any grammar mistakes here, i'm lowkey nervous in writing a whole paragraph cause you're an expert at these things.) And your way of teaching or discussing topics is always clear. You always ensured that we'd understand it and is open-minded to any questions. thank you for that.

sooo... i doubt theres anything you should change in your ways of teaching :3 i'm positive.🙏 instead, continue doing just that po. never doubt yourself and don't let your kind heart waver to any negative comments. i'm pretty sure some students look highly up onto you now. you're basically a model, an inspiration to try and be better at public speaking, or generally just do better in academics. thank you really, for considering on coming here to fortridge asian school. i hope you enjoy being in this school, even if some of us students might not be here next school year. (jusko po, 1st qtr palang yan pa sinabi ko HAHA)

thank you also for willing to share your vulnerability sometimes. this gives a reassurance to students that perfection isn't a real thing at all. a teacher may look professional, as if throughout their whole academic life they never struggled or faced any challenges, but you proved it that such thing isn't really possible. and that we shouldn't be ashamed or upset that we face and struggle with these things.

I guess I don't have anyy complaints since I've never had a bad time in your subjects. Every time you enter the classroom and with every "Ready Na Ready Na?" Idk I just feel like theres always new to learn and it's always something I'm interested in. Every class is a phenomenal expereince, every one of us dropping BAR AFTER BAR and just things that may be relevant and helpful to me in the future. We've never had a teacher like you, teaching with love and passion, doing their best through anything, even if they had no sleep, or had a stressful day. You're one of my favorite teachers. And we're proud of you!! Every class = Absolute CINEMA.

To be honest, I feel so shy expressing my thoughts through writing here because I know that others can read my message to you po, Teacher Kyla, but I feel this need to tell you what I can po.

First and foremost po, I just wanna tell you that you are so genuine and so, so, so pretty! That’s just two of the qualities that I love from what makes you yourself, and there’s a lot more, but it won’t fit in this message HAHAHA. Every time I get the chance to talk to you, I feel so emotional and you make me feel safe to talk about anything — whether it’s about academics or not. You do not hesitate to give us the opportunity to communicate and reach out to you even though sometimes we have to stay after class just to talk to you, and it makes me feel surreal and at ease. You also give us the best advice a student could ever have.

I also want to thank you for answering my questions about writing and reading, and mostly for helping me throughout my journey as a 10th Grade writer and reader who is a beginner. Throughout all our lessons, my grammar and writing improved in both English and Filipino, and that made my courage and confidence bloom enough to make public platforms where I can share all my writings. Thank you, thank you, and thank you, Teacher Kyla, for making us inspired and supporting us in what we do.

I am forever grateful for being given the chance to have a teacher like you, and I am honored to be your student as well. Thank you so much for making every class session very enjoyable and memorable, and for sharing with us the knowledge we need to gain before some of us leave Fortridge Asian School. Even though this is my first and last year in Fortridge Asian School, I am forever thankful because you made a special, memorable mark po throughout my Junior High School journey.

I just want to remind you po that we love and care for you so much, and always take a rest po — don’t overwork and stress yourself po, and eat food right on time to make sure po that you are healthy and fit to teach us and make more memories as this year goes on. I know po that all of us have ups and downs, and I believe that we can go through these situations and phases together by being there for each other, like how you are also there for us always.

And lastly, I do hope we create more memorable moments even after us, your students, graduate. I look forward to learning more about our upcoming lessons as we embark on our journey, and I promise po I will study hard because I appreciate all your efforts in speaking in face-to-face classes and online classes, and especially you making the lesson plans for us.

I’m unsure on how to start this message knowing that others can see what I say, but I’m going to try my best.

This may seem too direct and possibly implausible but: I truly believe that you’re flawless in terms of any aspect. Whenever it’s time for your class, I feel as if an overshadowed part inside of me finally meets beams of sunlight. The way you teach with tremendous passion, your encouragement when it comes to those who are unsure & ashamed of their sentiments, how you’re able to light up an entire room with your wisdom—these small things have personally struck something in me. I’ve noticed how I’ve been getting more comfortable and less hesitant to answer. As someone who’s biggest fear is reciting and feeling mortification after getting things incorrect, something I appreciate is how you politely correct your students’ wrong answers. It is not that other teachers don’t do the same, however you seem to include words of reassurance lest they lose courage after one mistake. 

Despite it only being the 1st quarter, I already feel like I can be even more at ease compared to the previous school years in which I was anxious and preferred not to speak in class at all. I remember when I was nearing a panic attack due to a presentation that I didn’t plan beforehand (it is my honest mistake), and you consoled me by saying that others wouldn’t judge me for messing up in front of them, and that they’d focus more on what they were going to say for their presentation. After that incident, those words begin to echo in my head every time I have to stand before the class, and it has comforted me ever since. Only in your class have I been reassured that my wavering voice didn’t matter, but the message that I wanted to convey. 

Thank you for choosing to become a teacher in Fortridge, I will never forget the memories of having you as my English & Filipino teacher. I cherish each small thing that happens inside and outside of our classroom. :)

So first of all, thank you po sa lahat, Teacher Kyla! I didn’t expect na magiging ka-close ko kayo at the first week of school, pero jk lang pala yon. Ang saya-saya niyo po kasama, tiyaka the vibes are vibing talaga. Sobrang energetic and nakaka-motivate pumasok araw-araw kaya thank you po sa pagiging mabait at maintindihin samin. Kaya dahil dun, Cher, penge kami +10 😁 eme. “ Isang yakap mo lang lahat ng pagod ko’y mawawala”

The reason po kung bakit favorite teacher ka ng batch namin is because you match our vibe very well at hindi ka po nagagalit kung nagbibiruan kami.

Para sa akin po, napaka-memorable ninyo at napakafun ninyo magturo.

And also po, you made history po in the school by making some "iconic" phrases like:

"All settled na ba?, All goods Ma'am"

"Ready Na? Uh ha Uh ha, Uh ha Uh ha, Ready Na! Ready Na!

And catchy signals like:
