In the text it states"...Become very proud of him". This supports me because in a video of Jack London it said that he often used him-self as characters in the text . This evidence further more supports me because it shows that people might be proud of him for writing even though he was not the wealthiest man at the time.
2.  What is the central idea of the text? The central idea of the text was created when Walt was on the run from claim-jumpers. After he had out runned them he became King Of Mazy May.

Paragraph 5 contributes to the plot of the story because it describes how things are going (in Yukon). It also contributes to the plot because it states "...Lost their claims" this supports my point because it tells how the claim-jumpers had come before trying to take land.
