         <title>Our tūpuna believed pēpi were born tapu, sacred and protected by the atua, and that they hold that tapu for their whole lives. That means everyone in the ECE centre/kōhanga is tapu and when dealing wtih challenging behaviour we need to hold on to this.</title>
