I started from the bottom as a paraprofessional. I was able to meet many types of students and make connections with them! Later on I was blessed with a special education teaching position and it allowed me to delve deeper into working with all those students I had made special connections with  and help to further their education (:

I did and never regretted it. I retired 9 years ago and decided to go back into the classroom this year.
