Kim saw a counsellor to address her mental health challenges and increasing alcohol consumption, though did not like the counsellor and disengaged with the service. Kim began binge drinking on weekends when staying with her older siblings. Six months prior, Kim was placed on a 12 month police caution due to multiple minor offences being committed; the offending rising when Kim further disengaged from participating in social activities, such as basketball. The relationship between Kim and her father has grown strong, since completing rehab 12 months prior.
