Hi, my name is Leslie Shiene Gorillo some people call me Les, Leslie or Shiene but I prefer Lesh. I am 25 years old, working student and a single mom.

I am very passionate about being a mother, as cliché as it may sound, but I would literally do anything for my daughter and she’s one of the reasons why I want to pursue my studies and dreams. Another thing that I’m passionate about is being a fan of BTS. They inspire me in so many ways- there’s more to their good looks, singing and dancing. I am more into how they put the words out there about how to love yourself and speak yourself. Their music saved me from drowning in loneliness back in 2020 when the pandemic started ruining a lot of lives all around the world. I am thankful I have come to know them as individuals and their music.

My philosophy in life is that life is what you make it. Bad things happen but we either let it ruin us or learn from it. Hello. I am Colleen Paula Azada and I am currently taking Bachelor of Elementary Education.

Now that we have face to face classes, I do expect a lot from this semester such as improving my skills, voice and posture which is vital because we are going to internship. I know that I lack of confidence and I'm still working on that.

When someone asked why I choose to take BEEd and I always answer that when I applied for college, I know that I want to take elementary education for a specific subject and I choose that content courses and when the first day of class came, that is when I am shock to know that I choose general education. I am worried because it only means that I will take every subject like Math and MAPEH which is my least favorite subject. We are lucky enough to have 1 year face to face classes before going to online distance learning because we are able to learn on how to demonstrate teaching on face to face class and create instructional materials.

When we went to online class, I am worried that I won't be able to catch up and have a hard time to develop my skills but I am still thankful because we learn so much and know different teaching methods and strategies that will be both helpful to face to face classes and online distance learning.

My passion for teaching becajme stronger when I became SPKP teacher in our locale this year. I am so happy to meet and help young students and I am lucky enough that my students will be back again next year. After the SPKP, I learned so much from students like having self-confidence even your answer is wrong, learning from mistakes and trying your best every time.

I know that I have a long way to go and I believe as long as I try to do my best and always strive to develop my skills and knowledge, I can become a good teacher. I want to become a role model to my students and inspire them.

I know that this will be possible with the help of my colleagues and friends from BEEd, family, and supervisors. I promise that I will get that LPT and strive harder in this profession.

My name is Nezhie L. De Paz but you can call me “Nezh”. I am 21 years old. I grew up in Leyte (proud to be Waraynon) and lived there most of my life before moving here to Metro Manila. I am a Roman Catholic and a Youth for Christ (YFC) member. Since I came here to Manila I live with my cousin and I have lots of responsibilities to do especially doing the household chores. I have an ambivert personality I like to mingle with the people that I’m close with and if I’m with some new people or strangers rather I am shy to initiate starting with a conversation. I am doing my very best to finish this course with the help of my guardian because of them I was able to enroll in a private school. I like Bulalo, iced coffee, traveling, and listening to podcasts on Spotify my favorite podcast is by Joyce Pring entitled Adulting with Joyce Pring. My biggest pet peeve is leaving the lights on, loud chewing, leaving dirty dishes in the sink, and having to repeat myself for the nth time. Hi everyone!

I am Jasmine Audrey B. So, you can call me "Jas". I'm 21 years old. I live in Fairview, Quezon City. I am the eldest among my siblings. My family and I are Roman Catholic. Creative thinking, versatility, time management, and diligence are among my strengths.

I've always wanted to be a teacher because I enjoy teaching children. I also enjoy speaking in front of crowds, and it was for these reasons that I was able to realize my ambition and pursue my passion.

I used to go out with my pals since I like to travel with them to unwind in some way. Additionally, I enjoy going out with my family since it allows us to spend quality time together. I enjoy eating shawarma, pizza, donuts, fruit shakes, and smoothies. I think I could eat those foods indefinitely. Regarding flowers, I adore tulips since they are very lovely and sophisticated.

But ever since the pandemic and lockdown began, I've developed new interests and skills. For instance, I've taken up guitar lessons, crocheting, cooking from recipes I've learned online, and binge-watching variety shows of my favorite Korean boy band - BTS. Even though I wasn't a fan of Korean boy bands before, watching them makes me happy. My dislikes include eating oranges, tangerines, and Tinola.

Hello, Everyone! It's my pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Jean Boholano Sanaco "You can call me jean or ate jean" I was born on January 13, 1987 in Caloocan City. I am living in Batasan Hills Quezon City together with my family. I am a choir member, Secretary, and Kapisanang Kadiwa President. I am a working student as a private tutor handling elementary students from grade 2 and grade 3 levels. Being an INC Officer and working student is kind of hard because of a busy schedule but I enjoy it because I love being active in a sense. Good Day to all of you!
Have you ever wondered what is the purpose of self-introduction? Why is it the first activity done during our class or in finding a job? Well, the purpose of introducing ourselves is to tell people who you are and it should encourage people to engage with you. So, thank you for this opportunity that I will be able to tell you about myself.
I entitled my introduction as "I am me" because I believe that I am unique, I am special and I know who I am. Starting with my name, I am Emille C. Cortez, you can call me "Em" or "Emille" but sometimes my friends call me "Emily". I'm now a fourth-year college student taking Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in Pre-school Education. I will proudly say that came from a family of active Church officers of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. My father is a Minister of the Gospel, he's in Cavite now. I'm turning 22 this coming October and would love to celebrate my birthday by fulfilling my duty as a Choir Member/Organist. I balance my time to fulfill all of my Church Duties - Choir Member, CBI Officer, CWS Officer, KADIWA Organization Officer, and Executive Writer of the New Era University Choir, also, I'm the EducADOS President and 4th Year President. Some of my friends always ask me how did I manage my time for everything I do, and my answer is all the same - I have devotional prayers and I know that God helped me to fulfill all the tasks and duties I have. Despite the busy schedule, I always set time for my hobbies like playing keyboards, having quality time with my parents and friends, drawing, singing, and I have a journal which helped me to express my feelings every day.

Greetings to everyone!

I'm Catherine Castro Pagatpatan, but I go with the name "Cat". I am 20 years old, turning 21 in September. I'm an only child in the family and we're currently residing in Quezon City. You can reach me through my social media accounts (Facebook, Messenger), just by simply typing my name on the search tab.

I gave my basic information, but to have a glimpse of who I really am, let me share more about myself. I am someone who takes pleasure in helping others and doing what's right. I am a homebody, but that doesn't mean I don't like trying new adventures. I like telling jokes and puns to my friends, even though they don't find it funny. I am outgoing, but I'm also quiet at times. Most people's first impression of me is that I'm snob, truth be told I'm actually the complete opposite. I am high-spirited, there you go, but only with my closest friends and people who I'm comfortable with. During my free time I watch Korean series and American sitcoms. I also sketch, sing, dance when nobody is around and listen to good music and worship songs.

In this world, everyone is unique. Everyone has their own likes/dislikes. Likewise, I also have mine. I love sour foods and anything that smells nice. I am fond of people who are kind, and who values and respect others' opinion and beliefs. On the other hand, what I find intolerable and something I can't bear with are cruelty and arrogance.

Now, to answer the question why I decided to pursue Education. My answer would simply be, to kindle the spark in the mind of young learners. I chose to take BEEd because I believe in the wonder of "young minds". Just like what Dorothea Brandel believes, “A child’s mind is not a container to be filled but rather a fire to be kindled.”
Likewise, I believe that a child's mind, indeed need facts and knowledge, however I want to impart not just lessons, but kindle a spark inside them. A spark that will inspire, make them learn more and use those knowledge to help them build a life worth living, and most importantly find their great purpose.
