For my artwork, I made an image of a younger boy dressed in a hoodie with the Dodgers logo and the number 42 to honor Jackie Robinson and to represent him. I wanted the artwork to stand out from the crowd and be different in its own way. I began with a pencil sketch, then went over the whole drawing with black pastel and shaded in some areas with charcoal.
