As you grow older you learn new things everyday and with these skills you are able to use them to your own benefit. As stated before in my introduction, I know my way around computers wether it's software or hardware i'm working with. It is definitely a skill that takes time to perfect, even now i'm still learning how to work with computers. 3 summers ago, I was able to work alongside my brother to help build a gaming rig, and this was the best opportunity for me to learn how computer hardware works. I have never physically worked with a computer until then and I can definitely say that it was a great experience. The complete build took us two hours of moving around parts and finding out where things fit best in certain areas. I tend to take the lead and have things go my way rather than to let others have a go at the things they want to do and it's something that I have to work on and continue to struggle with at times. However, during hurricane Harvey, I had the opportunity to strengthen my community skills. After the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey, our church was completely flooded and in shambles. I took it upon myself (as well as other volunteers) to help restore the building to it's former glory.
